I would have to be a little Bias since I won a Mercedes on a slot machine at the Venetian . a 25 cent machine i must add.
I alway go for the ones that have a little added bonus. like wheel of fortune or something.

I would say that I’m amazed at all the dis and mis information flying around about LV/gambling, but, over the years I have gotten used to it.

If you’re serious about learning how to win. Then all you have to do is take the time to send me an anonymous e-mail through yahoo answers. I will take you step by step as far as you wish to go.

1-what to play
2-how to play
3-money management
4-where to play - casinos that will appreciate you at your level of play>and what you can expect in return for your play.

learn those four and you’re ahead of 99.9% of all the “players” in LV.

Table games have better odds. But if you’re a slot player - I think the casinos downtown have slightly better odds than the strip (trying to draw people to Fremont Street).
Never - ever play the slots at the airport. They are the tightest because they have a captive audience with no competition.
My tips by my own experience - not scientifically proven.
1. Always play the full coin amount - even if you have to choose the machines that are only a 2 coin max per play.
2. Dollar machines payout much better than quarter or less machines.
3. I seem to win more often when I put in a $100 bill, instead of a $5, $10 or play coin by coin. I’m told the slot’s computer picks this up and tries to encourage you to stay. Who knows?
4. I’m also told that machines closer to a main aisle payout more because of their visibility - and people get excited when they hear ding ding ding ding ding ding ding ding -

There are no best slots. But if you want to play a little longer with yoru money go to the casinos on Freemont Street or those off the strip like Red Rock Canyon and the Green VAlley Ranch. The casinos in Vegas have reaally tightend up their machines to the extent that jackpots are rare now. And these day they even have high food prices all over so eat in the food courts or off the strip.

The local casinos have the most lenient slots in town. They are all computers now and they CAN change the odds on them, despite what they claim. The Strip machines are really tight. they are designed to take all your money and then you leave. The local slots pay a little bit better to encourage the regulars to come back and lose it all on a steady basis. I personally stick to Tables, blackjack specifically cause it has the best odds in the house and it is strictly chance. No computer shutting down your win percentage cause you won to much.

The best ones to win are the ones with high jackpots. But no slot machine is a good slot machine. Try roulette. It’s an easy game with great payouts!
