a lot of the times i go to the pub i notice men going on the fruit machines. They stand there for a while then the machine starts pouring coins. Every time i have tried to play them i put money in and get to press about 2 buttons before ending up with nothing. What is the big secret to playing these things?
It cannot just be luck, its obvious these men know exactly what they are doing.

Put in alot of money and pray. Haha.
The secret is to own the fruit machine. That way you will always win.
But the way British fruit machines work is not random like the kind they have in Vegas for example.
There is an element of skill to them. Often when the machine is ready to pay the jackpot it will offer an observant and knowledgeable player and opportunity to win the prize, provided he makes certain decisions correctly. So a skilled fruit machine player can win large prizes earlier than someone who doesn’t know how the machine works.
Sooner or later the machine will pay out anyway, it just might take a bit longer and cost a bit more to get there if you don’t know what you are doing.
The reality is though no matter how good you are, you are not going to make a significant profit in the long term. You might pick up the odd jackpot here and there because you know the machine is going to pay out. But you can also be mistaken and pump money into a machine that is nowhere near paying out.
At the end of the day fruit machines are a suckers game. I enjoy them, but I don’t seriously expect to win in the end. To me they are just a bit of fun.
know what to save, what bonuses to get, the games are run on random generators so there is no “secret”…
Please don’t listen to ZCT he’s talking out of his bottom. The only difference between the UK and US machines is the eprom chip that governs the bonus games.
There is no secret to playing the machines it’s entirely down to when you press the button, it doesn’t matter who has done what on the machine while you’ve been stood clocking it.
